The Importance of Routine Eye Exams

According to the American Optometric Association, everyone between 18 and 64 should have an eye exam every two years. You should receive annual eye exams starting at age 65. We can discuss the most effective exam schedule for you when you visit our clinic for an eye exam. If you experience any of the following issues with your eye health, you may need to see the optometrist more frequently:

Contact Lens Evaluation

A comprehensive contact lens evaluation is performed on all patients that require a contact lens prescription. The assessment is in addition to the Comprehensive Eye Examination. The exam consists of an ocular health assessment, corneal curvature measurements, topography, an evaluation of the fit of the lenses on the eyes, and follow-up visits to determine the long-term vision and comfort of the lenses.
